What do you think of the british army camouflage pattern?

If Im honest i dont like the idea of phasing out the DPM pattern that has existed as tradition within the britsh army for 40 years. I agree with the idea of using the design in afghanistan, where it can go from desert to lush greenery within a mile but why phase out the DPM pattern design at home? It just doesn't feel 'british' and too 'american' for my liking.

The uniforms are the same, it's just in MultiCam now. Crye's MultiCam is not in wide use with other militaries; the British military will be the first to use it as their standard camouflage. I'm not sure how that makes it too 'American' since the US has not started using it widely until this year. Even then, MultiCam is only issued to US soldiers in Afghanistan. Every where else we use UCP and MARPAT.

MultiCam is a very good pattern. British soldiers are quite lucky that they are the first ones to be adopting it. I wish we had it instead of crappy UCP.
